There is no theological statement, doctrinal teaching, or logical reasoning that introduces you to Jesus.

It's the end of January and this winter has been perfectly balmy so far, and I love it! It has been in the fifties, and a few days ago it was actually sixty. Other than some flurries that didn't stick to our warm earth we've not had any really cold weather, in fact, we've had some tornado watches and storms and blustery days, much like March. Unusual for northern Kentucky.
Yep, it's my favorite time of the year, new beginnings! I've got lots of great plans for bringing more pleasure into my days, and some great motivational books to keep me on track and fired up. Nothing is more fun than a great motivational book! I've started out the year with SARK's book Make Your Creative Dreams Real and am lovin' it. I'm also working my way through Drawing On the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards. No, I've never considered myself able to draw, by any stretch, but why not? I've always wanted to learn.
I hope your new year is off to a great start, and whether it is or not, you have the power, with Holy Spirit, of making it wonderful. Attitude is a choice, so start out your day tomorrow with fresh enthusiasm! Enjoy!

What do these have in common: Starbucks, bookstores, notebooks, a cabin
with a fireplace in the mountains, writing, Jesus, maps, gold coins, and
the beach? They are all hard-wired into my DNA to give me a jolt of
pleasure just thinking about them. Even the words themselves bring
pleasure. Some of these things are obvious, others I can’t explain. Like
maps. For some reason even the mere
thought of a map brings a rush of excitement in me. Maps speak of
travel, exciting places, treasure, and adventure. They speak of the
unknown. My sister gave me a map for Christmas of the Cameron Highlands,
Malaysia, where our family vacationed when I was growing up.

Join a series of conversations between Terry and me as we casually talk about living what we refer to as "The Adam Walk." It's what we've learned about walking intimately with God in "real life."
God's kingdom has no rules, and do you know why
God's kingdom has no rules?
Because God's kingdom is a person.
